About Ai Marmi

The lively energy of this establishment strikes immediately upon entry, where the close quarters and well-worn wooden tables suggest a no-frills setting dedicated to the essentials: good pizza and swift service. Amid the buzz of conversation and the rhythmic clatter of dishes, the staff moves efficiently, though the attention occasionally veers toward brisk rather than warm. Exploring an Ai Marmi menu reveals a focused selection grounded in traditional Roman pizza styles, favoring simple toppings that allow the dough’s character to shine. While the wine list is modest, the casual atmosphere feels inviting to those seeking straightforward comfort food.

Enjoyment unfolds plate by plate, especially when the dough arrives with a crisp, blistered crust that speaks of the wood-fired oven’s temper. The olive oil glistening on some pies complements the fresh, tangy tomatoes, while the mozzarella melts into splotches of creamy indulgence without overwhelming. Some diners have turned to Ai Marmi restaurant reviews online to confirm the consistency and value of these offerings, noting that photos frequently highlight the giant, thin-crust pizzas stretching across crowded tables. It’s a scene where simplicity reigns, and though the ingredient combinations rarely venture into adventurous territory, they remain satisfying and honest.

Despite the modest decor and often bustling environment, this venue seems to pull in a steady stream of locals and visitors alike, reflecting its solid reputation within the neighborhood. The experience is best suited to those who value unpretentious dining over opulence. Moments of noise and waiting can punctuate the visit, especially when the crowd peaks, yet the overall balance between price and portion size often justifies the patience. Searching for Ai Marmi photos will reveal the understated charm that these walls hold—an ambiance where focus stays on what’s served rather than on frills or distractions.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this Italian restaurant! The appetizers were delicious and authentic, setting the perfect tone for our meal. There are lots of pizza options available. The vegetarian pizza was equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and a great balance of flavors. Plenty of vegetarian options available. The Aperol Spritz was expertly crafted and served with great attention to detail. The service was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Italian cuisine!

Historical Pizzeria of Trastevere. Pizza is Roman style very thin and crunchy. Entrees are the typical Suppli, olive ascolane and fried zucchini flowers. Not the healthiest but very yummy. Then there is a huge selection of any kind of Pizza’s and Calzoni. Place is very busy, super noisy inside, and better to stay outdoors especially on a hot romantic night. A stop over is a must for a tourist in Trastevere. Ideal for a group of friends that wants to celebrate something and add more noise.

I honestly loved the food here. We started with a mix of fried goodies—the Supplì, Olive Ascolane, and Baccalà—and they were all really good. A great start to the meal! The pizza is the real star, though. The variety is huge, and it’s proper Roman style: thin and super crunchy. The taste was fantastic. We finished off with the Tiramisu, which was good (solid, though not the most outstanding I've ever had). Just a heads up on the vibe: it is chaotic and very noisy, so don't expect a quiet romantic dinner. Also, be prepared to wait; there was a gap of time between our starters and the pizzas arriving. Note: Booking is very very recommended. Don't forget to reserve! Also there number in Google profile is not updated. Follo me in mi instagram: enfokados

If you want to sit outside, depending on the time, you might have to stay in a queue. They serve only dinner, which is ok if you don’t want to go there during the day. Food is amazing worth waiting in the queue for us

This is a local favorite and deservingly so. They are serious about their pizza and the first bite solidifies any opposition. The house wine was not as full as other local Hosteria’s but that can be appreciated as well. My choice of sausage pizza was very distinct as the freshness stood out each bite. Service was speedy and receptive to my intermediate level Italian skills. As soon as I was seated a +20min line formed. So yes, I’d say take the time and enjoy some pizza romana

I literally had the best pizza in Italy here ! I fell in love with the Roman Pizza. The place is fully packed and is very busy, so there is a long wait time to finally have your pizza but it’s worth the wait . Trust me. Don’t go to tourist traps this is the best place for pizza in Rome!

It’s a different, more local experience, with nothing fancy in terms of service. If you can go in with that mindset, you’ll have the best experience of all. The food is delicious — we ordered two pizzas, and the wine is very casual. The tiramisu dessert was generously served and absolutely tasty. Our waiter’s service was exceptional; he was very busy since the place is always full, but he was quite funny, with a bit of heavy-handed humor, yet very kind. I would definitely come back again for both the flavor and the overall experience.
